Job Description
Accountable for scheduling corrective, preventive, predictive, and outage-related electrical systems, instrumentation, and mechanical maintenance activities. The coordinator reports to the maintenance manager, supervises the maintenance procedure, and supports the maintenance team members to achieve maximum facility availability in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner within all environmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, implement, and document preventative maintenance programs for facility and equipment.
- Maintain grounds, including exterior building repair and lawn maintenance in cooperation with the landscaping contractor and garbage removal services.
- Maintain all areas inside the building, including offices, apartments, and common areas.
- Maintain and oversee the repair of facility equipment to ensure proper function.
- Train staff in facility equipment and emergency procedures as required.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including repairing and maintaining equipment and building facilities.
- Learn and assist with maintenance of emergency response systems and other computerized systems in the community.
- Continuous improvement of the facility’s equipment listing, bill of materials, and equipment history.
Requirements and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 to 5 years of related experience
- General knowledge of laws and restrictions.
